CABCIN - Establishment of Capacity Building Centers as a sustainable solution to raise the standards of teaching staff in Indian HEIs, is a project funded by Erasmus+ European Union aimed at strengthening the capacity and quality of teaching in India by the establishment of Capacity Building Centers (CBC) at each Indian Partner University in the project consortium.


IPDIH 2018 will provide an unique global platform for fruitful discussion on good practices connected with the role of an instructor in teaching & learning process. Moreover, it would serve as an invaluable source of knowledge and inspiration is the fields covered by the sub-themes of the conference. Participants, Scientific Committee Members and Consortium Partners Europe, Asia and other parts of the world, makes it truly an international conference, one shouldn’t miss!

Sub themes

New Trends in Trainings Methods, Approaches and Tools

World is changing rapidly and so are the needs of students. This sub-theme concerns the new and upcoming trends in the field of training. Innovative techniques, various news methods, online & offline tools etc., being adopted by the trainers in today’s competitive environment are covered in this sub-theme.


Teaching with Technology

Technology has become a major part of students’ lives today. Using technology students are able to grasp concepts more rapidly, hence it has become a part the classroom. Trainers and Teachers use various tools from audio-visual presentations to interactive simulations for enhancing the teaching & learning experience. This sub-theme covers the advances and implementations in such technologies used for teaching to reach educational goals more effectively and efficiently.


Developing Trainers Soft Skills

Soft Skills are one of the most important aspects of being a trainer. Effective dissemination of the possessed knowledge to the trainees is vital to achieve the desired outcomes. This sub-theme covers all the aspects related to soft-skills development among trainers.


Assessing Teaching and Learning

Evaluating what a student has learned takes time & effort, but a well-designed tests coupled with consistent grading measures provide students with valuable information about what and how they are learning. It is very important to provide timely and effective feedback to students. This would help them learn better, enhance their performance, and develop cognitive skills. This sub-theme covers all aspects in this domain of evaluating and assessment.


Designing Training Programs and Curricula for Trainings
The first and the most important any training program is framing the program and curricula. This sub-theme covers the innovations and advances in designing of Aims, methods, assessments, outcomes etc for the targeted trainees.

Publication Requirements


All authors are required to submit the full length papers as per the guidelines described in the document available here. All received papers for the conference will be subjected to a double-blind review. All selected papers would be published in one of the following University Grants Commission (UGC) approved journals.

The committee is working towards receiving consent from more UGC approved as well as European / Foreign Journals for publishing the selected papers. Once the papers is selected for publication, the corresponding author will be intimated about the same along with the guidelines of modifying the format of their papers as per the journal in which the paper would be published.

Please note that, Full length papers which DO NOT qualify to the Journals listed above (after the double-blind peer review) shall be published in the conference proceedings (with an ISBN).



  • Paper Submission – Presentation  - Publication: Rs. 1500
  • An individual can present at the max two papers, when he / she registers by paying a fee of Rs. 1500. He / she DOES NOT have to pay the registration fees twice. This is also applicable in case of an individual being a co-author.
  • Author and Co-Author both have to be registered participants. i.e. both need to pay registration fee of Rs. 1500 each.
  • Only Conference Participation: Rs. 1000

Vadodara city

Vadodara formerly known as Baroda was once a royal state by itself, is today the third largest and most populated city in the State of Gujarat, India. Due to its rich cultural traditions, the city is also referred to as ‘Sanskari Nagari’, i.e. Cultured City. The city is on the major rail and road arteries joining Mumbai with New Delhi and Mumbai with Ahmedabad. Due to this Vadodara is known as a Gateway to the Golden Quadrilateral.
